Good day to all

I've found a stamp (?) of Cape of Good Hope, which I cannot find in the catalogue.



What kind of stamp is this? Maybe some cut from a letter / post card? Or some kind of fiscal stamp?

It could be a wrapper.Does not look thick.Distinctive fibers...

I say postal stationery as well. Note the paper is laid diagonal, which is normal for the position an unfolded envelope sits at when printed. With a wrapper the final product is a simple rectangle, so it doesn't sit at an angle to the paper.
