As a retired USAF guy, I have to ask why anyone would go underwater in something long and hard and full of seamen, but that is just me...

I partially failed as a father. My son is a postal history collector and exhibitor back in his youth. However, he was eight hours away from getting his private pilot's license when he was distracted by a girl. Wound up 82nd Airborne jumping out of perfectly good airplanes and helicopters. Thankfully, this story has a happy ending. Finally brought a "woman" home to met his parents then had the good sense to marry her. Fifteen years later they have blessed us with two grandsons one of which calls my stamps stickers. well, more work ahead.
