Some brownish carmines with complimentary blue cancels. Anyone know what the town in light blue at bottom right might be? The stamp at top left is a reddish brownish carmine variety. It is an early plate 1L printing that shows virtually no plate wear. The finest details, like the inner rosette ring, where the arrow is pointing in the closeup, aren't worn away yet.   |
