Static In New Drying Book

I just got my first drying book today and when I put the stamps on for the first time they stuck to the plastic pages due to the static electricity. What would be the best way of removing this static from the pages?

I have used anti-static spray made for paper products for years in an ESD production environment. It works well but note that I do not know if it is archival safe nor have I ever used it around stamps or covers. It never damaged or reacted to the paper items or other surfaces we used it on. I know one of the main ingredients is ethanol but they do not list other ingredients (even on the material safety sheet).

If you do experiment with this product, please use caution. I would try spraying just a single page, allow it to dry thoroughly, and then dry only common stamps as a test. I would be highly suspect if the dried stamps looked or smelled differently.

I don't know if I would do that. I'd just live with it as-is

Have never used a drying book. I dry stamps face down on a clean cloth. When dry they're placed between the pages of a heavy book for a day or so to flatten them. Never had a problem.
