Good Afternoon All. This booklet contains 3 pages of 2 stamps each, described on the cover as "stamps of the Machin type in imperforate condition." Is this a legit booklet? Legit postage stamps? The other interesting part is the 2 signatures inside the back cover...one looks very similar to Tenzing Norgay who ascended with Hillary. Does anyone have any info on this booklet? If legit, where is it listed as I can't locate in Scott's. As usual, thanks for the help!
Greg

One signature is, I think, John Hunt, who led the Everest expedition.

Thanks GeoffHa for pointing that one out. Wasn't sure whose signature that top one was but it sure looks like Hunt's after comparing them.

The second signature appears to be Tenzing Norgay, one of the first two individuals known to reach the summit of Mount Everest with Edmund Hillary.

Are the stamps gummed or self-adhesives? They look like the Worboys self adhesives created in the 1970's http://www.rushstamps.co.uk/mag/re74/p101.pdf

It is not an official booklet issued by Royal Mail. It is a private issue. SG will not list it either.

Thanks for the links guys. That explains a lot. They are not self-adhesives. I also have these in commemorative booklets of "125th Anniversary of The First Official Government Trial Perforation", "10th Anniversary of Apollo 11," and "25th Anniversary of the Coronation 1953". I also have the cover below. I appreciate your help!
