I understand that Scott 315 has to be larger than a certain minimum size to be certified. I'm not sure that the example below is wide enough but, being a margin copy, clearly is tall enough. Would this example pass muster? Is the unperfed margin a lead pipe cinch that this is a 315?
I think you will see some 315s that appear to have margins narrower than what you show. True you are a bit close on the lower left, but the upper left is not bad.
It is a 315. Some 304's with large margins have perfs trimmed to appear as a 315. But your bottom margin is, as you say, a "lead pipe cinch" that it is a 315. Nice stamp!
