Another little collection sale showed up in my Email.

http://db.kelleherauctions.com/php/...hp?sale=5106

No large collections at all, I called them and they will have a traditional large Collection Auction on August 8th. My inventory will be gone by then so I am crossing my fingers and hoping for some good stuff in August.

I also received notice of the June collections auction . Agree it is lame as far as better material . The better stuff was held back until August and this looks like a very weak auction for any reseller .I will wait until August when both Rasdale and Kelleher will be back up to speed .

Using this time period to reduce all inventory and consolidate some stockbooks and sell off stuff .

Good to know re the August collection sale - I looked at the items listed last night and was not overly impressed. Much of it appears to be one "old-time" collection on Scott specialty pages broken out into small pieces.

Looked over this auction again today , your right GMOT , looks like one worldwide collection broken down to country lots is a big part of this auction . The problem is weakness on the first few pages of each country and a lot of broken sets ,so a catalog value means nothing to broken sets . Will past on this one .

I was told there will be in person viewing by appointment for the Aug 8th Auction. I think I'll wait for that.

Auction is over .......very interesting turn of events .

I didn't buy any stamps ,nothing look interesting to me ,except the Scott 2018 catalogs at $225.00 but I didn't bid on those.

The thing I found interesting and watched it right to the close was the worldwide collections and the accumulation section . There I seen some lots make big jumps in bidding ,first should say this was a no viewing auction ,so everybody only could see the same poor scans and the poor write ups for any details ,but the prices jumped at the end .

The only take away is the Auctions in August both Kelleher and Rasdale collections and bulk lots auctions is going to be very aggressive and buyers are out to rebuild stocks after this usual market and active selling period with this COVID lock down .
