Just wondering how many people are collecting Australia postally used stamps from the past 10 years to the now of new releases?

Or etc?

While I'm not actively seeking recent stamps from any country, if they happen to come in a lot I'll gladly identify and add them to my collection.

Australia happens to be a country whose stamps I enjoy, so I will probably seek out newer material at some point.

Two replies how sad is that.

Sure glad I started trading plants online last October. Heaps more interest in plants than very recent postally used Australia stamps. Sadly that is for sure.

Still sitting on a lot of stock, of postally used Australia from 1992 to the now. Most of the last 10 years stock is still on paper being sheet stamps. No real plans on selling it.

In 2014 decided to start selling plants as stamps were falling away. Wow they have really fallen away in the last 5 years.

To build a another ebay store I set it up to sell lotus seeds and was able to start selling plant the a ebay store last Oct and it had 500 positive feedbacks behind me to start selling the plants I was growing.

Have a lot of orders today and they are not stamps sadly.

Two replies says it all!

Hi KGV Collector

All my stamps are MUH, it's good to hear that your interest in plants has become a success story on ebay.

Ditto.

I collect all Australian.
1. I avoid paying premium prices for singleton stamps
so, I collect whatever passes my desk, and/or purchase used year sets
when I see at auction or on ebay.

I used to collect Australia but a number of years ago I happened to wander into the 'down under' forum. The experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that I put my Australian album and catalogs on the back shelf of a closet and I have not touched them ever since.

Horrible fellow.
I left after about 10 posts.
That was 10 years ago, or so.

Modern Australia in used condition would sure be a challenge.

I stopped at the end of 1988 (bicentenary) to focus on other areas.

As for the down under forum, there is still tonnes of excellent information but I have no desire to engage there.

My Australia collection is concentrated on pre-decimal, but does include everything after that if nicely postally used.
Like others who have replied I won't actively seek out the newer stuff (as for other countries such as New Zealand and Canada) but I will keep it if it comes to me.
Regards
