1937 - 'White wattles' Die I. (Ink stripping)

Identifying the 'white wattles"

The wattles and wattle leaves in each corner are very white with little shading

The King's ear is unshaded and the chin is badly defined

"TA" of "POSTAGE" at top right is pronouncedly joined at foot

A characteristic of the ink stripping is that it tended to produce two breaks in the inner left frame oppositie the lower half of the portrait oval.

... and of course I will add the covers.

Rob041256, your stamps are already superb, and I eagerly await scans of your covers! You have covers for most of the stamps?

Hi Prexie3c

I don't have many covers, though the covers I do have are rare, whenever I find an interesting cover I will add it to my collection. When I reach the B.C.O.F. section there are 5 covers, one such cover is expertised as of the greatest rarity as only 2 exist.
