Looking forward to your further posts.
From what I have seen in the past Rob, you set an impossible standard and then exceed it.
Well done. |

I look forward to another series of philatelic eye-candy by you, Rob041256. I suppose the stamps are all MNH?
And just being curious - why were the two 1937 Hermes stamps issued in two different types of papers? Is one scarcer than the other? |

Hi Prexie3c
Virtually all my stamps are MNH, I do have one in my collection, the 1938 ˝d kangaroo with the very early cracked plate, it is lightly hinged, this particular plate crack is the only one of its kind in existence.
With the exception of that block of 4 all my stamps off cover are MNH, and of course I will add the covers.
Four covers celebrate the Japanese surrender, these covers were sent from Tokyo Bay, Japan on September 2, 1945.
The thin paper is indeed from 1948, unfortunately the editing button is now locked out and I cannot change the mistake.

Hi Don
I have added more stamps to Stamp Smarter, one particular stamp is the 1882-94 3d stamp the "O S" overprint in red, the variety overprint is tilted inclining upwards. (SG 022d). This stamp is extremely rare and is stated by expertiser Chris Ceremuga in the certificate accompanying the stamp as the only example of this variety in any condition. I have also added a rare a rare 4d koala totally imperforate SG188/ACSC 198A.ba, you can use any of these two catalogue numbers.
