Good thread -- interesting to me. I think I remember posting some U.S. stamps in that other thread.

Did I just say, "I think I remember" -- jeez. It's rough getting old

@Londonbus1: Maybe RM stands for Republic of Malaysia?

RM = Malaysian Ringitt [currency]

This sheet was a genuine error by Malaysian Post.
They simply forgot. Many were withdrawn and destroyed.
A friend in Malaysia sent me some scarce goodies and this was one of them.

Londonbus1....Scarce but not good !

Nice simple stamps rod2222 - the overprint really enhances them too. How do you know she is Bosnian?

Without the overprint, these stamps would be Bosnian newspaper stamps, Scott P1 and P2. With this overprint, they become 1L21 and 1L22.

Oh, and Scott says "Bosnian Girl - A1".

[Edit: When perforated, these were postage stamps and not newspaper stamps...if these had been perfed, they would be 1L17 and 1L18]

Thanks Cjd,
we only have gibbons numbers.
It is a pity the lass did not look straight at the camera lens,
as it is, we are left with her lost in some private reflection.

I don't know Rodddd2, The two eyes don't seen to be focused together - one (her left) definitely seems to be angling towards the camera.

I also think this thread has increased the value of the stamps.

Yeah, I didn't want to say it, but since Bee pointed it out, if you cover up one of her eyes and then the other, she may be a bit cross-eyed...I think she's looking at you with her right eye.

No that's not it. She's just trying to be casual. She doesn't want to start trouble between Rod and his wife!

Thing is if you cover them both then you know she doesn't know if she knows what she sees.

catalog value just tripled.

That's fine for now, when she's young and her stories are shorter, but just wait...
