Hi, I have just started collecting again - collected as a teenager with my father back in the '70s and 80', got interested in postcards (again) last year and at the beginning of the year joined our local Philatelic Society to get help with my postal stationary collection and got back into stamps.
At the moment I am collecting anything and everything - trying to finish of some of my father's collection, and collecting my interests which is unfortunately vast - Girl Guides, art, literature, agriculture, flowers, birds, animals and anything to do with mail.
I am looking forward to reading other peoples post and learning from you all.
Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences.

Welcome - it always seems that we start with one collecting area (in your case postcards) and that became stationery and finally back to stamps. There is truly something for everyone.
