This very scarce strip of 8 1949 half-penny kangaroos with no watermark shows dry inking affecting the three stamps at left. The first two stamps showing an extreme variation of ink stripping.

The thread was locked, and even though the block of 6 shows the same flaws, the strip of 8 shows the full progression of the flaw.
