1870 "bantam" 1/2d stamp. You should be able to see the plate number in the design on either side of the Queen's head.

As GeoffHa wrote. SG 48 (Specialised G4).

The plate number (6) is visible between the portrait of Queen Victoria and the value tablet, halfway up the 1. The plate was put to press 19-7-1870. It is one of the more common plates. There are 15 plates.

The letters in the top corners are the same as in the bottom corners, but reversed: QL. The stamp is from row 12 (L) position 17 (Q) in the sheet.
