Hello, have been collecting stamps for a while and with this covid going on spending lots of time at home. I decided to pull them all out of the box and start sorting. I have over 1200 from all over the world. Glad I found this forum, lots of good information and very helpful members.

 vmx120 Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. Thanks guys. This is addicting. Every stamp I try to evaluate especially old ones from over 100 years ago. It amazes me to think of the travels this tiny bit of paper has gone through, very cool, Geoff |

Welcome Geoff. It is a hobby with an inexplicably powerful draw for those that are bitten by the bug. I have been involved in it for five decades on and off, mostly on, and even when I cannot actively engage for long periods of time the itch to do so is always there. You are in a great place here on the forum. So much knowledge to be shared by so many. |

Experienced stamps need a home too. I'd rather have an example that is imperfect than no example.
