Just got my hp hooked up and managed to scan a few photos And wonder how everyone else gets a clear stamp it's partly to my only doing multitudes of stamps together ya. But if I did one at a dime is would still scan the same size and if I zoom from my photos edit ability it's blurry still is it the printer settings or my forum settings not tuned in? Anyone else having this problem?

Did you check your setting for scanning? You should try using a higher resolution DPI when scanning, so when you want to crop and magnify the image digitally it will not become grainy. Try 600dpi. Default is usually only about 300dpi.

Gozoom reminds me of a fellow from Canada we had posting about a month or 6 weeks ago.

300 dpi makes for decent scans. I used to do a quick pre-scan, then cropped the area of interest to tell the scanner what small area I wanted to scan at high(er) res. It also worked well to scan a stock card of stamps and then crop each stamp into a separate image. At 300 dpi, things look quite detailed.
