Waelshami,
Help us help you.
When you find a stamp like this, where are you going to try to ID it? The Scott catalogs? An internet source? It helps to know what path you have already traveled when you say "I have looked". Admittedly, I had no idea where this stamp was from either.
If you are going to collect worldwide issues broadly, then obtaining a set of the Scott catalogs is a must, and a set several years old can be had reasonably. I currently have a 2013 set, volumes 1-6 which cost me $30 total about 2 years ago. |

The trick is to start with volume one, then buy one a year and rotate back to one. |

Waelshami...
Believe early Palestine/British Mandate offers some interesting philatelic collecting opportunities. You'll discover color, paper type, and perforation varieties. Some are included within the Scott catalogue. Others will require additional resources such as country or area specialty catalogues.
There are also a number of overprint varieties which will add to the fascination/challenge of collecting this early material. And much of the associated material can be acquired at relatively modest prices.
The link which perf12 provided is one of the better primers on the subject. Other can be found online by Googling "Stamps of Palestine" or something similar.
As is frequently stated in this Forum, clearer postings result in greater responses. And it helps for perspective respondents to know where you've already looked, so as to avoid duplication of effort.
Enjoy.

Kind of an odd stamp. Palestine 1 and 2 are stamps with fairly saturated colors (ultra and deep blue). The example shown, at least based on what I can see on my laptop, is more of a dull blue or light blue. Also, while the right edge appears to be rouletted, the other 3 edges appear to be perfed with quite a few blind perfs. I recognize that the image is fairly unfocused and that color is poorly reproduced when viewing images online. Interesting. |
