Afternoon all,
Can anyone assist in identifying an early British postmark?
It shows as 'N' over 'NPP' in a barred oval on a 1900 1/2d blue-green (SG213).
Can't upload an image at the moment due to my internet connection being sketchy!
Thanks in advance.
Regards
DavidR

I.e., could it be NPB, instead of NPP. NPB = News Paper Branch.

Cjd, NSK, thanks!
Looks like you are correct, the 'B' is faint at the bottom so that was throwing me.
Managed to get a photo on today!
All the best for Christmas to all.

Definitely Newspaper Branch.

An agonising (and for my records, a NEW FIND)
Code P Is not recorded

I have it as Curt Furnau Type 55 (Codes D, M, or O recorded at top)

or, Stitt Dibden Type 30

The producer of my catalogue for Stitt Dibden, put the pages together haphazardly, and the binder covers some information.

I cannot see any Usage dates or info on the Type 30

May I keep a copy of the scan for my records please?
