I've just purchased some booklet sets, and amongst them is 10 x BK88 + 1, 10 x BK96 + 1 and 10 x BK100 + 1.

The (+1) in each case is the same as 1 of the 10, except for a small rectangular mark on the front and back of each one. I cannot find any reference to this in the Unitrade Catalogue.....can anyone throw any light on this ?

I've had a look on the web and evidently they are counting mark varieties

For at least the last 15 years, the fourth page of the booklet section in the Unitrade catalogue (page 590 in the 2021 edition) illustrates and discusses the "counting marks".

I don't know if I understood correctly.
I think they are "cutting lines" not "counting mark"
There are markings that periodically start the cutting device during the process of assembling the covers with stamps.
Does it appear on the 10th or 50th booklet?

The texts refer to two different books. Cutting marks are different marks from those shown.

Ok, better picture...

The 'counters' were applied on every 50th booklet to aid in the counting of booklets that were distributed to post offices in larger boxes of hundreds of booklets.

"Guidelines" were applied during the printing process to aid the printer in the production of booklets. Here is an example of the cutting guideline on BK55 (at the lower left corner):

Thank you..
Because for booklet that have cutting lines, the price is 4 times higher than normal, what is the parity 1: 50,100?
I read in your post that BABN is a booklet printing machine.
Are the covers and stamps printed at the same time? Does this machine cut, assemble and cut again?
I will try to find a description of the technological flow on this BABN.
