Although in 2021, I'm guessing such yesteryear catcalling isn't considered socially acceptable... but when the target is a stamp, who cares!

Saw this one pop up on ebay at just under half cat, and while it's a relatively common stamp (CV = $14), the size and centering of these margins certainly isn't common.

Pretty stamp. Corner crease at upper left?

Actually, that's not readily apparent under a loupe. Looks to be something on the surface rather than a crease. However, there is a 0.5mm perf tear at lower right (between 2nd and 3rd perf on bottom margin).

I had no intentions of trying to get it graded; it just makes for a gorgeous album spot filler.

It's a nice stamp, especially for a lower value first issue, but it wouldn't grade all that high anyway. It's centered to the top and to the right. Another stamp proving the silliness of grading.

Gotta admit, that's a nice Pete the Pup cancel around George's left eye.

And those margins...!
