http://bigblue1840-1940.blogspot.com/Well, something needs to be said after successfully publishing the Big Blue blog for ten years! Click on the link above, and you will be on the Home page. If the reader would scroll along the left column, there is much information and stamp images that have been published - in fact, ten years worth! Enjoy all the thoughts and comments on classical era WW collecting that is here! Jim Jackson jkjblue bigblue1840-1940.blogspot.com

One of my favorite sites. Thank you for all the work you do in putting your blog together Jim. It's been immensely helpful as I slowly put together a modest WW collection. What really got me hooked on your site was the guide to Brazilian Watermarks. Anyway, it is an amazing resource and I recommend that everyone check it out.
Thanks again and congrats on reaching this milestone.

One of my favorite websites. In fact I've posted a few comments on it over the years. The website investigates as well as informs about worldwide collecting in the Scott International album. It has a good deal of interesting information about the evolution of the "Big Blue" albums over the years, how they came about in the first place and how they've changed, as well as their advantages and their problems, all of which I've found particularly interesting. And it has a lot of info about general worldwide collecting. A lot of its information needs to be archived "just in case". Congratulations on surviving for 10 years, Jim, and here's hoping for a lot more. |

Thanks and congrats Jim! Your blog inspired me to start my own Big Blue collection, and I refer to the blog and the checklist constantly. The community is very lucky to have this incredible resource.

Congrats - great info and good writing. Your site was invaluable when I was first "confronted" with a stuffed inherited set of Big Blues. |

Hey Jim, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
One of the finest websites around, and as you know, I started my Big Blue adventure purely from reading your blog-- 23,700+ and counting!
I've been selling stamps on HipStamp now for going on 2 years in June, and in the information that I post on every stamp, I plug Big Blue, SCF and Stampsmarter, all huge assets to the philatelic community!

Congratulations, Jim! Your website has helped me get my head around some early definitive issues in Austria and Brazil. Excellent text and images! Keep up the good work! Dan |

Experienced stamps need a home too. I'd rather have an example that is imperfect than no example. I collect for enjoyment, not investment. APS Member #223433 Postmark Collectors Club Member #6333 Meter Stamp Society Member #1409 |
