I've been trying to identify this postal card, but so far, no luck. I know it's German or Austrian, and old....beyond that, no clue.

I just need a basic year or so and something to create an ebay listing title.

I don't think Old German Postal Card~Unused is gonna cut it

Thanks so much in advance!

Looks Austrian to me,
a typical Willi Dachauer design ?

Hi
Seems to be aligned with the Austrian stamp series that started in 1922 (Scotts 250 ff)

Yes, Austria, 1922. Ascher lists it as #259.

Austria Michel catalog P 264. This card was issued early 1924 to cover in-country postcard rate of 500 Kronen.

The word "Oesterreich" at the top of the stamp somewhat gave it away.

Thank you all so much! I was thinking Austrian as well, but you guys are the experts
I feel a little foolish, but like I said, this is all very new to me!

Purveyor, thanks for showing this card to everyone and asking the question. I love old Austria material and enjoying see it. Please don't feel embarrassed to ask questions. I've been collecting for more than 50 years and learn new things every time I come to this site.
