I have collected covers with different airmail borders for over twenty years and have not seen this design on a post card before. Is it familiar to any one on this forum?

The card is small and measures 128mm wide x 71mm high compared to 138mm wide x 89mm high of a regular-sized post card. It was used in this case to announce a stamp show in Carmel, NY in May 1949.

The design is a common one seen on airmail stationery used frequently for philatelic event covers and is regularly seen for sale on ebay. An example of the design on an envelope is below. The design on envelopes is also available with the red & blue colors reversed

The card must have been printed by the same company that did the envelopes, but I'm just curious if anyone else has seen the card or has one or more cards in their collections from a different time period.

Thanks.

Don
