Here is a stamp #7 that is labeled as "Embossed with grills". I assume that makes a difference. Again, I would appreciate any information from you that I should know (e.g. Scott #, type, condition, authentic/counterfeit, does it have any value, etc.). Thank you for your time and trouble.

All your stamps look genuine to me. Some are in rough shape. They should not be too hard to identify. Give it a shot with the Stampsmarter website and folks here can help of you get stuck or want confirmation.

Sudzy, Scott #79 has a grill covering the entire stamp.

The grill on this stamp appears to have 11 or 12 X 17 points, so it likely is a #94.

I need to see the back (too) in order to evaluate a grille, but again, assume you have the most common until you can prove to yourself what you have is less common and more valuable. I'm no grill expert, but here's a basic guide:

Grills are classified by the dimensions of the grill pattern and are measured in millimeters or by counting the number of grill points. There are eleven major classifications.

"A" Grill Covers the entire stamp
"B" Grill 18x15mm (22x18pts)
"C" Grill 13x16mm (16-17x18-21pts)
"D" Grill 12x14mm (15-17-18pts)
"Z" Grill 11x14mm (13-14x18pts)
"E" Grill 11x13mm (14x15-17pts)
"F" Grill 9x13mm (11-12x15-17pts)
"G" Grill 9-½ x9mm (12x11-11 ½ pts)
"H" Grill 10x12mm (11-13x14-16pts)
"I" Grill 8-½ x10mm (10x11x10-13pts)
"J" Grill 7x9 ½ mm (10x12pts)

Since there appear to be 2 different stamps hinged in that space, you may have 2 different stamps with grills. Check the backs of both and see what you have. We would love to see photos/scans of each as well.

Per wkusau's request, here are the two stamps in question:

This is the original one posted with pics of the back:

Below is the second (hidden) stamp, front and back:

Thank you for your help with these.

Sudzy,

Both of your stamps appear to have F grills despite what is written on the back. See jamesg's list of grill types above or my link to Stamp Smarter above. This would make both of your stamps Scott #94.
