Hey there! I'm a young collector who has just found this old stamp but can't identify it due to lack of knowledge about postmarks. The postmark also cover the stamp so I can't read it very well.

Welcome.

Based on the Scott Standard Postage Stamp Catalogue believe your stamp is Scott #111.

From a series issued 1887 - 1892.

To commemorate Queen Victoria Jubilee.

As calstamp writes: Great Britain, 1887, ˝ d orange vermilion (Stanley Gibbons nr. 197c, maybe SG 197 vermilion).

This is the lowest value from the serie of definitives issued during 1887. As this was also the year in which Queen Victoria celebrated the 50th anniversary of her accession to the throne of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, the series is known as the "Jubilee Issue." Although it may not be fully coincidental, it was not issued to commemorate her golden jubilee. At the time of issue, a series of lilac and green stamps was current. The public disliked it and there was the need for a better design.

As Don wrote, the barred cancel has office number 134. That number was used in Bristol, England.
