There are two Scott #130's in the upcoming Siegel auction with town circular datestamp cancellations. One is a New York cancellation, but I can't identify the one below. Any help is appreciated.

2nd question - Is there any way to be certain that they are contemporaneous?

The letter before the F looks like a W.

I have always advised clients who wanted to add "used" re-issues to their collection to only buy examples that are cancelled with barred numeral type cancels that were prevalent during the period of the (philatelic) use of the re-issues.

Still good advice I think .....

I believe we all agree on "field" and before that seems to be either an "n" or "m"

go here: https://www.postalhistory.com/postoffices.asp

Type nfield or mfield in the search box tick "string search" and most every post office with the letters nfield or mfield will appear sorted by state and with it's county listing and year or years of operation.

It is a great resource created and offered for free by Jim Forte.

Oh, and what Richard Frajola said should not be ignored.
