Just curious is there any Admiral coils with Jump Strips

Canada 127 - wet printing,

See attached, looks like stamps 1 & 4 are normal, stamp 2 is about 1mm higher and stamp 3 is about 1mm lower.

There is no blemishes or paste up on the gum side.

Hi Trodent

Using stamp one on the left as normal height.
Seems stamps ,2,3, and 4 are all different.
Just my opinion my friend..See attachment below.

There appears to be a faint vertical line between the last two stamps on the right, what is that line?

Cheers Bill

Peter, Trodent,

As others just pointed out, I will add an illustration, Hounddog Bill is asking about a possible faint *vertical* line ...

(It will not be visible on this illustration, merely using the red arrows to point to the area where is barely visible on the original image at the beginning of the thread.)

Looks like a paste-up pair line. It would also explain the jump in the perforations. A scan of the back would confirm.

Not likely - too nice a line. It seems to have a dot in it, could be a LOM line?

I just wanted to add my example of Scott 128 for comparison. This strip of 6 includes a paste-up pair on the far right. There are also hairlines on a few stamps, and the perf jump is right at the point of inclusion of the paste-up pair. There are slight height differences throughout. The back is a mess. I think that this stamp series just had some normal variation during the printing process.
