Is This An Omitted Error Stamp?

I just have a real quick question ; does this stamp have the wrong color? I believe its a 1908 Austrian 5 Heller Stamp which typically come in a green shade, this stamp on the other hand is the same color blue as the higher denomination of its series the 25 Heller. Is this a color mistake or am I just reaching to far?

Probably a "colour changeling"
Green is known to turn to blue / ish with loss of pigmentation on some stamps.
Not seen it on this issue before.
Suggest Light damage.

thank you for suggesting fading, and I did think of the possibility but it truly is a different color tone then the green see my photo.

so if you never heard of it does this make my stamp an error stamp and a real variety of the 5 Heller stamp?

It is basically damage.

My is still green, hence it has not been damaged!

You are correct, not Light or chemically damaged.
Nonetheless, still damaged
EVERY stamp that has been through the mail is damaged in one form or another, but that's OK.
We all get wrinkled with age.

Your stamp tells a story, when it travelled, and where it came from.

The teeth to me suggests, it has been kicking around in a shoebox, or a plastic container, where it has collected dust on the teeth edge, given the right humidity, that will turn into "rusting"

Treat it well, it has lasted all it's life, till it got to you.

When the yellow fades from green, blue is left.

so what are you talking about the stamp is even on a different paper than the other one I have that are all similar shade of green.
somebody accidently must of used the wrong color during production and paper making it a transitional error

I'm afraid that we'll just have to differ. You can keep it as a "transitional error" and others will regard it as a changeling. These stamps were printed on different papers over time.
