I have a UX39d (top scan - inverted light green surcharge) and what I think is a UX41a (bottom scan - inverted dark green surcharge). I know the top is the UX39d, but would like input on the bottom one, whether it is the dark green. It is definitely darker than all of the UX39s I have seen. Thanks, Dave.

UX39d

UX41a?

From UPSS catalog:
"(d) Three sheets (out of the 18 with the inverted surcharge) were sent to Milwaukee, WI and account for the only known mint copies. Canceled copies are rare"

It does show Surcharge 3 for UX41: "D" of "Dept." Lower Serif Only.

Can you show the back for any message? If no message, could be collector created.

Just my 2˘,
Pat

Thanks, Pat, for the surcharge type information. The back side is blank, no message.
