P# Block Of 6, Impt., T V

I'm having a hard time determining what "T V" is here. The stamp picture is attached. Can anyone help me out on the initials?

Not sure if it is ok to post a picture of the section for this stamp in the Scott Catalogue.

T V = type 5 imprint and plate number strip

The above appears to be a reconstructed plate block and imprint.

Don, I was thinking the same, but I believe the top part of the perfs are still intact. I'd love to see the back of this block.
Also, it looks like the color is trying to change, especially on the two right stamps

I think you are right on the reconstruction. Here is the back.

Based on the back side, this is essentially 6 singles with poor centering.

I have been collecting for close to 50 years. I have worked for a number of stamp companies in my day, so I knowledge base is not inconsequential in the field. This plate block has problems, no argument from me, but it is still a reconstructed plate block. I collected PBs in the 70's, when they were more popular than today, and I would have been more than happy to have this example in my album. This is a great way to get a relatively high value PB at a reasonable price. I haven't forgotten what that is like. Congrats!

Thanks for the positive feedback. I think this came to my Dad in a collection he purchased 20 years ago. I don't believe he would have pieced it together. He did have a Full Sheet of Scott #788 (Lee/Jackson) that was a nightmare of separation. 4 stamps across on the right and 2 across on the left, right at the center perf. I am new to this...total novice compared to most of you and I separated it into two pieces about a month ago. What's the best solution? Look at this Scott #513 Apple Green Franklin. It has clearly been repaired. How much does this decrease the value of the stamp?
