Looks somewhat familiar,
but has me stumped.

My best guess would be Syria....but no results by Google.
Revenue stamp Roadworks? 1967

The fellow holding what looks like a washboard...any ideas?
The character before "50" had me stumped, must be abrev of Piastres
(two diamonds above the character)

The letter before 50 is the Arabic letter qaf indicating the initial of the currency Qurush.

At the right of the value panel is the year 1967 and the city Damashq.

Haha, that's a sifting screen, to remove rocks and pebbles from dirt and sand.

Thank you. Curiously, I am doing the exact same thing at home.
Using a slotted grill from the bottom of a ride on mower.
