Michel 2013 lists these as Northern Yemen 114-121 but I have imperf issues plus the portrait on one 6p is tinted. These are noted as questionable legality.
What was once the Kingdom of Yemen and later became a republic was known as North Yemen in Germanic countries. Current Yemen is an amalgamation of the North and South Yemen republics.
Imperforates and colour of portraits seem to make up varieties; the colours differing between airmail (avion) and ordinary:
I grew up in the '70s and '80s (in the USA), knowing them as North and South Yemen. I'm sure I even have an old atlas somewhere with those names. I don't recall seeing Yemen Arab Republic until high school in the early '90s, I think.
@NSK, I didn't see that you were commenting on Michel, I thought you were trying to make some strange point about naming conventions in Germany.
