Specifically, Alameda CA just across from San Francisco. Almost 64 years old I began collecting in elementary school and even started a small stamp club! Eventually I fell away from philately during high school only to return to the fold in 2004. Having embraced stamp collecting with enthusiasm and renewed energy, I now focus on Gold Coast/Ghana, US Back-of-the-book (revenues, match & medicine, etc.) and philatelic literature.

Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game.
