Excellent information from everyone who answered. It is gratifying to be able to coax out valuable information on the forum allowing those who want to go into the "rabbit hole" on forgeries. The specifics illustrated here are just the thing to stimulate more interest. Nicely done.

while examining my WADA tourist sheet closely. I noticed lithos beneath thhe forged stamps... these I show on blogspot . I always search for new koban fakes and have found a few. Old Koban fakes are also emerging that are outside 2003 ISJP CD


ALL litho fakes are MAEDA including spiro group. Wada was only a reseller

WADA only made waxed-copper plate fakes ... lithos were supplied by MAEDA KIHEI. SCANS are not poor or blurry. it is as they are ...

lithos bearing cancels were made as packet material. not as shown in the K-series tourist sheets - unused / or D11 underprint shown

D11 is new plate 2+ positions
