Beat Uo Copy Of A 519 Or Not?

Hi everyone.

After a hiatus I have finally gotten back to my US collection. It's nothing special and after buying a Steiner pages CD I am trying to sort and put things together. Well I have run into a conundrum stamp and need some expert eyes. I have this Washington stamp that Perfs out to 11. But there is not a watermark on the paper. I'm thinking it may be a beat up copy of a 519 but don't know for sure. Any help is appreciated.

No. 519 has "TWO CENTS" at the bottom rather than "2 CENTS 2".

This is a 499.

so if it is 19mmX 22mm that would put it as a 499

vacuum - Forget trying to measure the design. If the stamp is a Type I, unwatermarked, perf 11 stamp then it is Scott 499.

Thanks everyone very much - Just delving into these issues Is there somewhere I can find a stamp chart anywhere that can help me ID these issues.

I agree with the previous post recommending Stamp Smarter. But I would also recommend the "Scott Identification Guide to U.S. Stamps, Regular Issues 1847-1934, 6th Edition" by the late Charles Micarelli. This is a $40 162-page soft-cover book ... the most recent edition (I think) was released in 2013, the year of Micarelli's death.
Added: Just checked to see if there is a newer edition and found 3 copies of this book offered on Amazon for $600+! The price on the back of the book is $39.95. At this price, it is a good buy ... needless to say, this is not so at $600.
