I've never seen these before? Has anybody else? Google images comes up empty too but perhaps I'm not using the correct search terms. these are MNH with gum on a thick laid paper. It's a beautiful design. Could they be from a souvenir sheet? I don't see a mention in the Scott Classic Specialized. Thanks!

I've exhausted my Google search for a possible sheet or Souvenir emission, I am thinking it must be scarce. The hunt is on ! Here is my page, I had no idea tabs / labels existed........ Brazil does have the knack of producing unusual sheets and commemorative labels. Makes the album really handsome. |

Thought these looked familiar, turns out I sold the lightly hinged pair pictured below in the summer - came in a Latin America purchase but no indication as to whether they were from a souvenir sheet. Received in same, this interesting corner single from the same set. |

Michel says that all four values come with a label. The labels are from gutters in the sheet/pane, then. No indication of how many there are per sheet/pane. |

THANKS SO MUCH, it's amazing the knowledge available on the board. Now I need to find the other two with labels.

RHM says the top row of the sheets contain 5 stamps, the first space occupied by the Arms of the Republic and the last by those of Rio Grand do Sul. He doesn't give a separate value for the pairs. That implies the sheets are laid out as 6 rows of 7 stamps, short the two labels for the 40 total per sheet. I'd expect to see the same, as vertical pairs, with the horizontal designs. |

Exact info at last; thanks billsey. But somewhat scarcer and thus tougher to find with labels than I thought.
Good hunting! |
