Hello,

could someone help me with this stamp?

It is with a secret mark, could it be a #156f, but this Scott-number is only for a imperforated pair? I can´t find this single one in the Scott catalogue.

What do you think?

Likely because of the three 156f's certified by the PF none are singles. Siegel has only recorded three sales of 156f's, all multiples.

The Banknote stamps (National, Continental, American) were perforated with width/height variations to produce some "Jumbos" which could be trimmed to fake the imperforate single. This is one reason that the imperforate single is not listed/priced, and that multiples are needed to demonstrate the imperforate error.

Doesn't appear to be on hard paper either. More likely a trimmed 182.
