Hello, all. Philo here.

I just joined this week, as I have just become a stamp collector as a result of inheriting an uncle's collection. It is three stuffed binders of both unmarked and post-marked stamps from all over southern Africa, including South Africa, Zimbabwe, and even countries that no longer exist in their former states (like Rhodesia and Transkei).

I am curious to learn about their collectability and value, so any tips on how to appraise them would be welcome.

Cheers.

Hello and welcome. Most members here seem to have a scanner to create and show images of their stamps. Stampworld.com is a great place to look up countries by region under 'catalogue'.
