Hi I came across the stamp below and was puzzled by it. I know the 6 cent Queen Elizabeth Stamp is Scott # 342 but the 2 over the stamp threw me. Any help with identifying the stamp is greatly appreciated

Looks like part of a cancellation rather than a surcharge or overprint

I would say the same, so now I am looking for 1950s wavy numerical cancels...

It is the # of the machine, that cancelled the stamp as it passed through.
