Hello:

I am having trouble with these Sweden stamps. Putting the wavy line watermark aside, how do I best distinguish between the 1920-25 Perf 10 vertically no watermark and the 1920-26 (I believe it should say 26 not 25 again on this page.) which also is perf 10 vertically and no WM. So for example how do I tell the difference between a Scott 116 and a Scott 126?

Your guidance is appreciated as always.

116 is the coil stamp and 126 is perforated 10 on all 4 sides.

Yep, the old "coil" vs. fully perfed trap once again. We've all had that brain freeze.

I can't tell you how many times I've missed the obvious staring me right in the face. Sometimes it just takes setting things aside for a little bit and coming back to it with fresh eyes.

For both 5 öre stamps and violet 10 öre stamp there are two variants. And both watermarked and unwatermarked versions exist also with KUNGL POSTVERKET watermark.

Edited to fix language.

Thank you Kuikka - yes I must have been out of it yesterday and was a not reading the perf all around versus the coil. Now the Watermark, I tried and tried but I cannot see the wavy line (or confirm that none of mine have it). The challenge is that some have cancels with wavy lines so I am not sure so I put them down. I will try again another day :)

I meant excluding the watermarks there are two variants of 5 and 10 öre stamps.
