Usually an expertiser's or dealer's mark. Brothers Senf of Leipzig, so likely dealers.

Gebr. = Gebrüder (brothers).

The stamp was sold by Gebrüder Senf, a stamp store in Leipzig, Germany.

(the "u" in Gebruder needs to be changed to "ü". This forum does not like umlauts.

This postmark is a known forgery. Furthermore, the original postmarking device is in private hands, so even if genuine it may be an unauthorized use. Expertization is essential.

Thank you for the quick response and info. Any idea on the current CV? Will help determine if I should sent it off. -My catalogues are from 1996 and I use for reference. Thank you again.

Cherrystone has sold a few covers with the complete set of six overprinted stamps and Apia postmarks (your postmark resembles none of them) for around $140 +/-.

The overprint is genuine, no doubt.

Germania said the postmark is a known forgery. You should look yourself, but 27.7.01.9-10V in this type cancel is too commonly found - that's exact date and time within a 2 hour range. The genuine "1"s should have very short flags/top serifs, too. Very likely that the cancel is forged. It's not the only (late) date that's suspect, either.

I would suggest not to submit this to an expert unless you're really, really curious about it. With the hinge thin alone, it's already 10%-20% of catalog value; my 2016 Scott has cv at 75.00 in italics.
