I'm trying to break down the path which these gorgeous pieces of history has taken to be placed back into our hands. Where did they come from and the places they have been. Are they worth holding to the top or to the bottom shelf?

PaperClipper315,

Stamps, especially when left on the item they carried through the mails, leave clues as to their past adventures. Enjoy the quest to figure this out.

Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences. Russ
