USPS Kendall The Clown Bear, 29 Cent Circus Stamp

Wondering if anyone here can help with a valuation on an odd Post Office item even though it's not a stamp. My wife worked at the PO for quite a few years and we've collected a lot of stamps and memorabilia but this is certainly odd or unusual. It a Kendall Bear with the 29 cent Circus stamp on his chest but the stamp is upside down. Have seen these bears on ebay but have never heard of one manufactured with the stamp upside down. Wondering if there are some others out there?

I have a familial requirement to answer as my relatives, Mr and Mrs Johl wrote books on stamps (him) and dolls (her). So my answer is I have no clue. Since normal is going for $5, inverted is worth at least $10 if for no other reason than as a stamp office conversation piece. Heck in the correct mood, I could see spending $20. (Yes! I own bears.)

Be aware you are talking to philatelists (stamp collectors) here and I suggest you Google, "Doll Forum" to find an active doll board for their take on your question.

I was thinking upside down would be normal for a clown.

After all, this is the guy whom tips a bucket of confetti over your head,

I wonder how difficult it would be to take the patch off, turn it upside down, and reattach thus creating an "error" or at least a conversation piece?

Extremely difficult, in fact, nigh on impossible.
That label is attached by a chip programmed embroiderer,
removing it would reveal just a jagged edge to the label.
