Searched the forum; searched with Google; searched my library and I'm not coming up with any deep resource on Wilson Roulettes. There's a snippet on Swedish Tiger and a nice exhibit with one paragraph saying essentially the same thing, but I'd like "more". Anyone have a reference pointer for me? Thanks if you can help.

Being a premium item, several copies show up with brief descriptions in a search for "Wilson Roulette" on Siegel's power search.

Also, they get almost a page (196) in Steven R. Belasco's "Guide to United States Vending and Affixing Machine Perforations, 1907-1927" published in 2009.

Al E. Gator - excellent pointer. Read all four articles in the series, starting with the Vol 81, Issue #10. Wilson Roulettes are dealt with in the 3rd issue, Vol 82, #1 (January). Kevin Lowther has done an excellent work and gone far beyond what Scott even starts to hint at. Based on what I've read, Wilson seems to have been a bit of a scammer and the "story" about the origination of Wilson roulettes being due to a bankruptcy being of questionable justification for the variants. I find myself believing that most of the Wilson roulettes were probably made to order / made for Wilson's personal use. So, while I will probably still pursue an upcoming block, I will do so with "eyes wide open".

I'm very glad the articles helped you out. They come up on ebay every once and a while.
