I've been collecting off and on since the mid 70s. I contacted the philatelic foundation because I have some used special printings and they said I would need to get an expert to look at them and then send in for a certificate. Does anyone know anyone in the southeast US that I could contact for this. I live in Tennessee. I'm posting some pictures of some of them, opinions are welcome. I have all of the Scott's specialized catalogs so I have researched them extensively. My main stamps are the 3 top rows

fin my opinion, what you show in your post, all appear to be common workhorse issues of there time period. in addition most appear to have condition issues. www.stampsmarter.org will assist you further in your identifications. most special printings were not valid for postage. Siegal auctions web site will also help you with the special printing features.. I would not recommend certs for any of the items shown.

Excellent suggestion from the philatelic foundation. Essentially, don't waste your money on a certificate until you have someone else look at them. Look through the helpful sites mentioned, then go to a local stamp club or show, if necessary. They can give you a quick look over. Good luck.

You could contact the Knoxville Philatelic Society. They hold monthly meetings on the first and 5th Tuesday and sometimes a Saturday in Knoxville. They have members in the Chattanooga area and maybe a member is willing to look at the stamps for you.

They are exceptionally rare and foremost only unused withouth gum (because they weren't never in circulation for postage use).
And to tell apart from the regular issue is the sharp impression and must be soft paper.
Focus on three stamps because
Only three of your stamps could be (chances very slim) special printings because they seem unused: 2x 1 cent Franklin, 1 / scott 192
1x 5 cent Taylor / scott 204

Send this three stamps to the PF and you will know.
