I hope someone can correctly identify the two large fruit (not the lemon UR corner) on this NZ stamp captioned only as citrus. The orange fruit is flattened much like a mandarin or similar. the larger oval fruit could be either a grapefruit or pomelo. I am catalog-challenged in this area. Jeff

Officially, the three fruits are a tangelo, a grapefruit, and a lemon.

You know it's a 1982 illustration, not an actual photograph, right?
Like I said, those are the official fruits. NZ Post says so: https://collectables.nzpost.co.nz/1...tives-fruit/

PostalHysteria, be careful these fruit topicals will not only clutter your desk but may attract fruit flies.

I LOVE tangelos. They are the tastiest fruit on the planet and peel very easily. I cannot get them too often, but it is a treat when I do.

It is probably what the locals call a poor man's orange or goldfruit, a type of citrus fruit grown in New Zealand which is believed to be a hybrid between a pomelo and either a mandarin or tangelo.
