I was cleaning up and came across these and I'm guessing they are considered Cinderella's? I'm not sure of the qualifications for Cinderella's.
They came with a set of Xmas cards for a donation I believe 15/20 years ago.

Cheers, Bill

I would not classify them as Cinderella's but rather labels/stickers. Cinderella's are generally faux stamps with stamp-like characteristics.

They sure look like Cinderellas to me.

If postage stamps can go from perforated rectangles with water activated gum to die-cut self-adhesive shapes, then why can't Cinderella's do the same? I see these as no different than Christmas or Easter seals.

Cinderella's they are then. They don't fit the definition of "resembling a postage stamp" but everything I post gets rebutted by a couple of people, so I am tired of debating over the silliest things. I actually have a life.

I'm with Rogdcam on this. They're stickers, or "seals", like the centres of the old "Greeting" stamps.
Or the additional circlets on the "Flower" series.

Stickers or Seals. Not Cinderellas (IMO).

For those who say "no", do you consider a Christmas seal to be a Cinderella?

I agree with John,
Cinderellas.

It comes under the umbrella, of my stamp club.
and for no other reason.

You may even call them "French fries" if that is your want.

Christmas seals are considered Cinderella's because they mimic postage stamps.

Is this a Cinderella?

PS: Said I would not get into a silly debate but here I am.

Not a debate, just opining personal preferences.

If that were printed, and adhered to a cover,
I would suggest personal postage indicia etiquette,
and, certainly under Cinderellas.

I do not collect them, but do not deny anyone whom does.
"collecting" should have no boundaries.

Obviously a cat that identifies as a dog.

As for myself, I am now identifying as a small piece of luggage so I can get free air travel.

Round, imperf stamps don't look like stamps. They are stamps, but unconventional.

Round, imperf stickers also don't look like stamps.

Cinderellas do look like stamps. Ergo, round, imperf stickers aren't cinderallas.

That's all I have to say on the matter :)

By the assortment of reply's and being rather new to collecting it's not a wonder I had to ask the question.
I was ready for an answer either way as I can see both sides on this issue.
I just thought there would have been a consensus already as to whether such items were included or not, hence my question.
I appreciate the replies and discussion as even if there's no consensus or clear-cut answer, I at least now know that.
Thanks to all,

Cheers, Bill

Wikopedia definition: "virtually anything resembling a postage stamp, but not issued for postal purposes by a government postal administration".
Key phrase seems to be "resembling a postage stamp" .

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinderella_stamp

Hope that helps somewhat.
