Always find something interesting rummaging through my cover boxes.

Side perfs gauge at 10½

Never seen boardwalk margins like this on one of these. Sheet margin?

Love the slogan - "mail early for Christmas" and has a 12/23 postmark, nailed it!

Bottom left corner of a booklet pane. The right margin was probably very tight.

Like revcollector says, this is a booklet pane stamp. The perforating of the stamps and the cutting of each pane are done independently and often result in odd-sized stamps. Perf them a little to the right, and cut them a little to the left, and you easily end up with jumbos like your's. Although not the biggest I have ever seen, your's is particularly well centered.

First thing I thought until I realized I've never seen a booklet pane with that much room between stamps vertically.

I scanned a couple of 4th bureau booklet panes.

Looking at the 2¢ at the LL position I can now see where a print shift could produce margins like that.

Thanks
