Hi !

I recently buy my first lot of Japan stamps ! I find about 800 but I need help to finish to find all of them.

I appreciate if anyone can tell me the Scott number of the date of emission of each of them.

*** I think that in the first picture is regular issue and on second is prefecture.

Thanks !

You may get assistance with these size scans, but I very much doubt it.
Can you afford more time to offer at least
a size that we may read the text?
At least a few seconds to crop the sheet?

Youse guys operating with yer 1800 resolution screens. Try putting it down to a reasonable 800x600 and the stamps are visible. Even to a blind bat of a ground hopping one legged parrot like me. Squuak.

However, I am no help here as the catalog I had I sold years ago in a strange fit or something. I go to the library now, when they let me out.

I think the strange shaped ones with the little people on them are from a letter-writing-day mini sheet somewhere in the 2002 era. But beyond that, I can't remember what day it is some days.

Hmmm, now I try reading the characters and text on the stamps even I can't see it. I was looking at the pretty pictures. I apolergize fer my squakin.

ccool, try scanning just a third of a page at a time, 2 or 3 rows, and then cropping the picture down in size and reducing the kb to 90 or less so as to be able to upload to the forum. Thanks.

Nice pics except I can't see all of them. They do not load completely on my slow connection speed. Hopefully someone will come along and help ID them for you.

Maybe change the title a bit to Help Identifying Japan Stamps. ??

I am not familiar with Japan stamps, but I wonder if some of those are "personal Stamps" like Canada's Picture Postage?

Some Japan personalized stamps from 2003, 2006 and 2008, mostly based around the label attached to the stamp system. 2006 seemed to be a departure. Not sure how they work, if you have a choice of framing type or what.
