As I mentioned in another topic, I was on vacation in Panama recently. I stopped by the philatelic office of the Dirección General de Correos y Telégrafos to pick up some stamps. In the entire country this is the only place where you can expect to find stamps in collectible conditions. I went to the local post office, close to where I was staying, and asked for stamps. The postal worker pulled out this folder with a tatty group of sheets, stapled together and folded in half, with bends, folds and so forth all over them.
While I was at the philatelic office, they pulled out two folders with the stamps they had available. I liked them so much, I bought them. Here is what they look like.

Here is the inside of one of them. I will scan the other one this evening.

It looks like our national bird is getting ready to eat our national frog on one of those stamps.

I am guessing these little folders were/are given out as gifts to diplomats and the like.
